Here it is though the sound and picture quality is bad. Watch it before You Tube pulls it off.

i just watched this film on netflix.
if you haven't seen it its worth watching just for the ways he demolishes the religious advocates he interviews.. the most worrying things i saw in it were the us senator who says that having a high iq isn't a criteria for being senator and also all the muslims he interviews who despite claiming to have read the quran also claim that islam is a religion of peace..

Simon:
"It's a great movie, well worth watching (but isn't it called Religulous?)"
Simon, this video does not show in the US. It shows a message saying "This video contains content from Lionsgate, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."

Those moderate to Liberal Muslims are rationalizing their scriptures and history because they want to be peaceful and don't want to follow that aspect of Islam. That is no different from Jews and Christians who also rationalize the Old Testament which is a religion of barbarism and genocide. So, while I'm not naïve as to what Islamic history has been I get peeved when Fundamentalist Christians criticize them when their own historical sh!t stinks just as bad.
it has been 2 and a half years since my departure from the religion.
i was told by my parents from the start that i would never speak to them until i returned to jehovah dog.
a few months later they told people they hoped i died before the end came, then all of this culminating in them telling my inactive / fading sister that they don't consider me a child anymore and they have given me up to satan.
"Yes that was evil, but I just do not really care anymore."
Based on what you said I totally support you.
i'm currently working at a rehab facility.
it also has assisted living, long term care, and hospice.
the facility allows churches to sign up for planned activities.
i have exchanged posts with a number of you in the short time that i've been a member of this most excellent forum.. as i initially posted, i have aspergers syndrome.
in my case it is both severe and mild.
it is mild in that unless you talked to me for some time you would only think me a little odd.
my amazing wife surprised me and bought tickets for us to hear richard dawkins tonight!
he is giving a lecture with someone and then they are having a q&a session.
anyone have any suggestions for questions i could ask?
14 replies in one hour! You struck pay dirt comet.
Seriously, my opinion is that any god conceived of by any religion is definitely non-existent. If, however god is defined strictly as a creator then I could imagine some extraterrestrial scientist (Outside of our universe) making universes as part of a laboratory experiment. Not likely but who knows?
I would refer to that as atheism with a special condition. There still would be evolution, no afterlife, no judgment in this world or any other of the attributes that theists ordinarily used to describe god.
so i am walking down the street in a spanish neighborhood and two men, obviously jw's, are standing between houses writing furiously on their tiny slips.
i am nearly a block away approaching and they just kept writing the whole time i walked up.
i finally arrive to pass them and they are still both writing.
Good for them. Both the householders and the Witnesses.
I'm surprised though that Spanish Witnesses are that lax. They've always seemed to be more motivated than Anglos.
at our meeting last night there was a talk about having run out of magazines for the last three months.
it's expected this will continue to happen.
the "branch" has not sent the requested number of magazines.
so we all know that "crazy" brother or sister.
every kingdom hall has one.
they give the best comments (from a hilarious perspective), have experiences with the "demons", but most importantly, they are on about 10 deifferent kinds of medications.
